1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PeptSafe.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from PeptSafe ("we," "us," "our"). By browsing the Site, creating an order, or completing checkout, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase our products.
2. Research-use-only intent
All products offered by PeptSafe are reference materials supplied for laboratory and scientific research use only (RUO). They are not manufactured, sold, or labeled as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices, and they are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, injection, or any in-vivo use.
You are solely responsible for determining that a product is suitable and lawful for your intended research and for using it in compliance with all applicable laws, institutional policies, and good laboratory practices.
3. Eligibility & researcher attestation
- You must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to form a binding contract.
- You represent that you are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, or business engaged in lawful research and development.
- At checkout you must affirm the researcher attestation. That attestation is a condition of sale; submitting it certifies the statements above are true.
4. Orders, pricing & payment
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes or duties unless stated otherwise.
- We may correct pricing or description errors, and may refuse, limit, or cancel any order — including orders that appear to be for prohibited end-uses — at our discretion.
- An order is not accepted until we confirm it and process payment. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order before dispatch.
5. Subscriptions & recurring orders
Where a "Subscribe & Save" option is selected, you authorize us to create recurring orders at the interval you choose (e.g., every 30, 60, or 90 days) at the displayed subscription price. Subscriptions continue until cancelled. You may cancel or change a subscription at any time before the next renewal from your account or by contacting us via the Contact page. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively cancel an order already processed.
6. Shipping, title & risk of loss
Shipping timelines, methods, and costs are described on our policy pages and at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays outside our control. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for any import requirements that apply to your location.
7. Acceptable handling & prohibited use
By purchasing, you agree that you will:
- Handle products only in an appropriate laboratory setting by trained personnel using proper protective equipment;
- Not administer, consume, or otherwise use any product in or on humans or animals;
- Not resell, relabel, or distribute products for human or veterinary use, or in any way that misrepresents their research-use-only status;
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing the possession, handling, and disposal of research chemicals.
Misuse of our products is a breach of these Terms, is solely your responsibility, and voids any warranty.
8. Intellectual property
The Site design, text, graphics, logos, and the PeptSafe name and shield mark are owned by or licensed to PeptSafe and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.
9. Warranties & disclaimers
We warrant that products meet the identity and purity specifications stated on their accompanying Certificate of Analysis (COA) at the time of shipment. Except for that limited specification warranty, products are provided "as is" without any other warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No statement on this Site is a representation that any product is safe or effective for any in-vivo or therapeutic use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeptSafe's total liability arising out of or related to any product or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. PeptSafe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the misuse of any product, including any use in or on humans or animals.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which PeptSafe is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes & how to reach us
